While I haven’t been watching my calories over the last week (right before a race, I just want to make sure I’m going to have the energy to sustain myself through the run), I have been doing well in general. While the framing of these is off, you can definitely see some improvement. I think making our TTh runs 5 miles instead of 3 made a huge difference.
Today we’re taking a rest day. We’re just sore after the half-marathon and over-doing it can cause injury and extended fatigue. Soon enough, though, we’ll be doing the Insanity/P90X hybrid to train for the Spartan Time Trial, less than 5 weeks away!
