So, anyone who spend any amount of time with me or who is friends with me on FB knows… I LOVE Turbo Fire and Chalene Johnson.
Still, I haven’t lost any weight doing TF and going hard for over 150 days. I am in much better shape, and I feel great most of the time. I can’t look at my 150-day pictures (which are nearly identical to my day 0 pictures) and complain too much. I look better than I ever have in my life. It’s really something else entirely: my diet.
I really need to stop overeating (nutritious and delicious as my food may be) and I need to stop consuming so much junk food! Mostly, I really have to deal with my sugar addiction. When I’m stressed out, I want candy/sweets like whoa. Refined sugars are no good for me, and I need to cut them down dramatically. I’d like to cut them out entirely, but I don’t think that’s realistic at the moment. I can limit them to social meals, which are once or twice a week. Otherwise, my sugars will come from whole foods.
Anyway, at least I can see my muscles are a little more defined (particularly my tricep- that baby needs some work!!), and I know I am more in-shape. I started a second round of TF this week (starting in month 2 because month 1 just seems too easy), and then there will be half-marathon training starting in February.
Mmmm… and then there are these job applications and that pesky dissertation to get to… Like, now.
